Description: Construction repairs, including balcony and building envelope issues.

Project Scope:

  • Coordination of repair activities with retail tenants and building management personnel
  • Metal balcony repairs, including containment; interior door trim removal and replacement; stucco removal and replacement; removal and re-set of balcony door; installation of related flashings; installation of new decking and BASF MasterSeal traffic coating; prep, paint and sealants
  • Exterior wall repairs at entryways, including stucco removal and replacement; new flashings and waterproofing
  • Remove and re-set stone coping at the 2nd floor, including stucco removal and replacement; stone coping removal and replacement; installation of flashings, lintels and brick ties
  • Remove and replace EIFS belly band
  • Remove and replace sealants at brick control joints and around windows

Challenges:

  • Access coordination for retail customers
  • Health and safety of tenants, customers, employees and general public throughout active jobsite and busy public walkway
  • Securing access to scaffolding
